English:
It is a closed-row building with an L-shaped floor plan, a one-storey, gable roof. Staircase with barrel vault and neoclassical railing. Partly second half of the 19th century, early 20th century doors and windows. It was built in 1817 by György/George Axenti, a leather merchant of Greek origin,-who was admitted to the "purgers" (Bürger: citizen) of the city in 1817,-and belonged to the family until 1900. Between 1845 and 1872 the Nagykanizsa Savings Bank operated upstairs. From 1891 it became the property of wholesaler Gyula Reichenfeld, who opened a store here. On the wall of the house there is a bronze (bust-like) relief of Ferenc Deák de Kehida (erected 1997, György Fischer works). - Inscription on facade plaque: ~"Athent House is a listed building. The house of leather merchant György Axenti. It was built in 1817 in the neoclassical style. Between 1845 and 1872 the county's first bank, Nagykanizsa Savings Bank, then the shop of the nationally renowned seed wholesaler and exporter Gyula Reichenfeld operated in the building.// The memorial plaque was erected in 2004: OTP Bank West Transdanubian Region - 5 Deák Square, Nagykanizsa, Zala County, Hungary.

Zártsorú beépítésben álló, L alaprajzú, egyemeletes, nyeregtetős épület. Dongaboltozatos lépcsőház, klasszicista korláttal. Részben 19. század második felei, 20. század eleji nyílászárók. Axenti György, görög származású bőrkereskedő,-akit 1810-ben vettek fel a város „purger”-ei (Bürger: polgár) közé,-építette 1817-ben, 1900-ig a családé volt. 1845-1872 között az emeleten működött a Nagykanizsai Takarékpénztár. 1891-től Reichenfeld Gyula nagykereskedő tulajdonába került, aki boltot nyitott itt. - 'Axenti-ház' néven műemlék azonosító: 10948, törzsszám: 6272. A ház falán van Kehidai Deák Ferenc bronz /mellszoborszerű/ dombormű (Felállítás 1997, Fischer György) [1] - HELYI VÉDELEM ALATT ÁLLÓ FALIKÉPEK, DOMBORMŰVEK, MOZAIKOK "F-9, Deák tér 5., hrsz.: 2419, Deák Ferenc /bronz dombormű" - Emléktáblájának felirata: "Axenti-ház műemlék épület.
