Description

As the barefoot minstrel continued entertaining a large group of people sitting on the lawn, other tourists walked past him on the sidewalk. Most, like this trio, did their best to pretend that they didn't see or hear the singer ... which was pretty weird.

These pictures were taken during a mid-day stroll through Central Park on a mostly-sunny Saturday afternoon. It was mostly an experiment to see how well the GPS feature on my new Nikon Coolpix P6000 worked.... but it also gave me a chance to get used to the camera itself.
