Description ADM David E. Jeremiah, vice chariman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, responds to a question from the media during a press conference aboard the aircraft carrier USS RANGER (CV-61). Jeremiah is in the region to monitor activities during Operation Southern Watch, a multinational effort establishing a no-fly zone for Iraqi aircraft south of the 32nd parallel in Iraq.
