English: On the left is a plaster and rubber mold such is typically utilized in the lost wax process. On the right is the resulting cast bronze sculpture (Sculpture by David Ascalon).
Català: Esquerra: Part del motllo fet amb el prototipus de cera, a l'interior. Observeu que cal afegir dues "potes" de la figura a l'exterior, també en cera, per a que el motllo tingui conductes per on extreure i introduir, respectivament, la cera líquida i el metall líquid.
Dreta: La figura obtinguda, un cop hem tallat les potes (que hauran quedat també en bronze) i hem pulit els diversos errors i impureses de la peça. |
