Summary[edit]

Description
English: This map portrays villages in Darfur that the U.S. Government has confirmed as destroyed or damaged between February 2003 and August 2009. This map also portrays villages where the U.S. Government confirmed there was no evidence of damage at the time of evaluation. The data reflect only what analysts have been able to identify and confirm so far. Numerous villages have not yet been evaluated. A destroyed village is defined as confirmed evidence of complete destruction of the village. A damaged village is defined as confirmed evidence of partial destruction.
