| Description |
Le réseau des voies navigables s'étend sur une centaine de kilomètres du nord au sud du Kerala. Ces canaux et lacs ont été créés dans des zones initialement marécageuses et lagunaires pour faciliter la circulation des marchandises, les transports et le commerce des épices et des autres produits agricoles. Ces canaux, bordés d'habitations installées sur des digues, ont permis le développement de cette région qui est une des plus riches de l'Inde. |
