| Description |
English: Damage at The Towers The bridge parapet of the A5 bridge over the Afon Llugwy, adjacent to The Towers outdoor centre, has been damaged. It appears a vehicle has hit it, probably taking the sharp bend too fast. The steps down onto the river terrace have been severely damaged, and consequently closed the footpath from here along the north bank of the Afon Llugwy towards Swallow Falls.
I'm going to speculate now and say that the actions of a drunk driver and a cash-strapped highway authority have prevented access to this lovely stretch of river. |
