Object history
Deutsch: Im Jahre 1983 wurde von Oberarchivar Dr. Debus vom Staatsarchiv Speyer ein Gutachten für das neue Wallertheimer Ortswappen erstellt. Das bisherige vorhandene Wappen (dreiblättriges Kleeblatt) musste aus Rechtsgründen umgestaltet werden. Die Geschichte im 1956 herausgegebenen Wappenbuch besagt, dass neben dem Krummstab zwei Buchenzweige vorliegen. Das neue Ortswappen, welches das Gerichtssiegel von 1547 mit dem kleinen Gerichtssiegel des 18. Jahrhunderts verbindet, wird wie folgt beschrieben: Von Blau und Silber schräglinks geteilt, oben eine schrägliegende silberne Krümme, beseitet von zwei sich kreuzenden ebenfalls schrägliegenden silbernen Buchenzweigen, unten ein dreiblättriges grünes Kleeblatt.“
