Deutsch: Der schwarze Wellenbalken in der Mitte ist redendes Bild für den namengebenden Fluss Schwarzach, der das Gemeindegebiet durchfließt. Der Pflug in der oberen Schildhälfte steht für die vorwiegend landwirtschaftliche Prägung des Gemeindegebiets. Die vier Sterne unten erinnern an die Gebietsreform und die Zusammensetzung der Gemeinde Schwarzach b. Nabburg aus den ehemaligen Gemeinden Schwarzach, Altfalter, Weiding und Unteraubach. Die Grubenlampe verweist auf den früher blühenden Abbau von Flussspat. 1534 erließen die pfälzischen Kurfürsten eine Bergwerksordnung für Altfalter; im Gemeindeteil Wölsendorf blühte der Bergbau vor allem im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert. Die Farben Silber und Blau unterstreichen die enge Verbindung zu den bayerischen Landesherren seit dem 13. Jahrhundert: Schwarzach ist bereits um 1230 als wittelsbachischer Herrschaftsmittelpunkt im Naab-Schwarzach-Raum, dann um 1285 als Sitz eines Urbarsamtes im Viztumamt nördlich der Donau belegt. |
