Object history |
Deutsch: Spätestens seit 1790 gehörten Obernheim und Kirchenarnbach zur Sickinger Herrschaft Landstuhl. Da in den Wappen der Sickinger Gemeinden fast ausnahmslos die Sickinger Bollen vorkommen, wurde für Obernheim-Kirchenarnbach das Sickinger Vollwappen mit Heimzier gewählt, links erscheint der alte Kirchturm von Kirchenarnbach, zugleich ein redendes Symbol für den Ortsnamen. Kirchenarnbach hatte bereits 1309 Pfarrechte; der alte Kirchturm wurde 1898 abgerissen und durch einen Neubau ersetzt. Die früheren Ortsherren in beiden Ortschaften bleiben im Wappen unberücksichtigt. |
