Object history
Deutsch: Wie die Wappen der Nachbarstädte Forchtenberg, Ingelfingen, Öhringen und Sindringen bezieht sich auch das der Stadt Niedernhall auf den Patron der Pfarrkirche. Der heilige Laurentius ist bereits im ältesten, dem 15. Jahrhundert entstammenden Siegel der Stadt zu sehen. Bei den farbigen Darstellungen setzte sich - nachdem der Kirchenheilige 1931 noch ein blaues Obergewand getragen hatte - die jetzige Tingierung durch. Das Landratsamt Hohenlohekreis hat die Flagge am 19. August 1980 verliehen.
