Description
Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Hösel, seit 1975 Stadtteil von Ratingen:
„ In Silber (Weiß) über einem grünen Schildfuß ein rotes schreitendes Reh, vorn eine aufrechte goldene (gelbe) Ähre, und hinten ein grüner Baum.“
Im Jahre 1938 verlieh der Oberpräsident der Rheinprovinz der Gemeinde das Wappen. Das durch den Heraldiker Wolfgang Pagenstecher geschaffene Wappen stellt charakteristische Merkmale der Gemeinde dar. Das Bauerntum und der Wald mit seinen Bewohnern sollen durch die Ähre, den Baum und das Reh versinnbildlicht werden.

English: „Argent, above a terrace base vert a roe deer passant gules, ahead an upright ear Or and rear a tree vert.“ The arms were granted in 1938. The arms symbolise the agriculture and the well-forested character of the village.
