Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde 1999 von Axel Hammer aus Düsseldorf entworfen. Die eingebogene Spitze verweist auf die Zugehörigkeit zu Oberhausen, der Pflug auf goldenem Grund erinnert an die ehemalige Bauerschaft. Das Gebäude steht für die frühere Abhängigkeit vom Stift Essen bzw. der Abtei Hamborn. Die Zange verweist auf die Industrialisierung; der Wellenbalken symbolisiert die Emscher. Das Wappen Buschhausens ist dreigeteilt und gleicht dem der Stadt Oberhausen. Es ist allerdings heraldisch nicht korrekt gestaltet; es ist unzulässig Metalle (Gold und Silber) sowie Farben (Rot und Grün) aneinander grenzen zu lassen, darüber hinaus ist der Wellenbalken belegt mit einer Zange bedenklich und überlädt zusammen mit dem nicht näher erklärten Dreiberg das gesamte Wappen.
