Description
English: „The lion is the lion of the County of Jülich, to which the municipality historically belonged. The key is a symbol for St. Peter, patron saint of the village."
Deutsch: „Gespalten in Blau und Gold (Gelb) vorn ein gestürzter goldener (gelber) Schlüssel mit einem nach links gewendeten Bart, hinten ein steigender schwarzer Löwe mit roter Zunge.“ Das Wappen von Boisheim zeigt den Schlüssel als Symbol für den hl. Petrus, Schutzpatron der Pfarrkirche sowie den Jülicher Löwen als Zeichen der früheren Zugehörigkeit zum Herzogtum Jülich.
