Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Albersloh, seit 1975 Stadtteil von Sendenhorst: „In Gold (Gelb) über einem roten Dreiberg, belegt mit einem goldenen (gelben) Topf, eine rote Mitra mit goldenen (gelben) Ornamenten im rechten Obereck.“
Das Wappen zeigt die Farben des Hochstiftes Münster. Die Mitra erinnert an die Gründung der Pfarre durch den hl. Liudger. Der Dreiberg erinnert an die hügelige Landschaft und der Topf stammt vermutlich aus dem Wappen der Herren von Ahrenhorst.“
English: „Or, above a triple mountain gules with a pot Or, a mitre gule with ornaments Or in the right upper corner.“
The colours are derived from Münster diocese. The arms remember on the foundation of the church in the village through Bishop Luidger (mitre). The triple mountain symbolise the landscape and the pot is probably from the arms of the Lords of Ahrenhorst. |
