Description
English:
Holocaust memorial (other title: In memory of the victims of the Jewish Community of Szeged) by Jenő Kovács (2014 bronze statue). About artworks from artist: ..."one of the bronze figures, symbolizing Judaism, almost falls into the water from the stone boat, while the other, symbolizing the Catholic Church, prays with a gaze raised to heaven."... Note: because the photo was taken in rain, sculpture shining - Dóm Square, Belváros (Inner City) neighborough, Szeged, Csongrád-Csanád County, Hungary.

Szegedi Zsidó Hitközség áldozatainak emlékére c. Kovács Jenő szobrász alkotás (2014). "A kőről az egyik bronzfigura, amely a zsidóságot szimbolizálja, kibillenve már-már a habokba esik, a másik, a katolikus egyházat szimbolizáló, égre emelt tekintettel fohászkodik."
