Summary[edit]

Description
English: Duluth & Northeastern 2-8-0 No. 28 was the star of Lake Superior Railroad Museum's 2017 Railfan Weekend, Sep. 6-8, 2017. The 1906 Alco was built for the the Duluth, Missabe & Northern as No. 332, and operated by successor Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range til 1955, when it was sold to the D&NE. Its restoration was completed by the LSRM in 2017. I wanted to thank LSRM, Steve Glischinski, Jeff Terry, and Chris Guss for making it happen. Well played guys.
