Summary[edit]

Description
English: Title page of the Polish language book "Walczący obóz Buchenwald" (The Fighting Concentration Camp Buchenwald) with a dedication by Wacław Czarnecki for fellow Buchenwald prisoner Kazimierz Nowicki

The text says in translation:

"I am handing to you, dear Kazimierz, with a friendly embrace, the first copy of the book that I have received from the printer. It was you who encouraged me heartily to write it. Therefore, I give to you - my best friend without quotation marks - that which is a reflection of our youth, of our faith in man and of our will to do something good in life. Jan. 9, 1970, Waclaw"

Tekst dedykacji:

„Pierwszy egzemplarz otrzymanej z drukarni książki - wręczam Ci, Kaziu*, z przyjacielskim uściskiem. Ty dopingowałeś mnie serdecznie do jej napisania. 9/I.1970 Wacek“
