The equipment consists of a single car of 3.15 tonsweight, while the motor develops 15 horsepower at 440 volts. Running on top of the wires is a four-wheeledtruck of very light construction, inthe center of which is suspended,at a comparatively great distance,a heavy weight. By means of thisweight the center of gravity is keptvery low so that there is no dangerof a derailment of the carriage. While experience has sho
