Summary[edit]

Description
English: Curtain fall for Much Ado About Nothing in Reading Abbey Ruins. The (virtual) curtain has just fallen at the end of a performance, by the Progress Theatre Company, of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing in the ruins of Reading Abbey. The roofless remnants of the abbey's chapter house provide the atmospheric setting for the performance, with the now closed Reading Gaol just visible in the gloaming behind. The twin memorials to Hugh de Boves and Hugh of Faringdon, respectively first and last abbots of Reading, can be seen flanking the stage.
