Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Crug-glas, side-view Country house hotel and working farm, present building dated C19 but a farm was established here as far back as C12 when it was mentioned in the Black Book of St. Davids, a register of the farms, manors and estates in the area with the rents payable to the diocese. Crug-Glas is reputed to have been one of the many seats of the Bishops of St. Davids and it belonged to the Church until the early 1900's.

In this view the slate-hung pine end of the mansion only is visible.

The house stands across the gridsquare line and an image of the front elevation of the house can be seen in SM8129 immediately to the east.
