Summary[edit]
DescriptionCreag Each - geograph.org.uk - 48611.jpg |
English: Creag Each. The summit. Beyond is the end of Loch Earn. The wee island has a gory history. It was considered an impregnable stronghold of the Neishes. They were safe in their castle upon the island. However their enemies, the McNabs from Killin had other ideas. One night they carried a boat across these hills from Loch Tay, sailed across Loch Earn, surprised and slayed the Neishes on their island stronghold. It is still known as Neish Island. |
