English: Craigherron Beech. This magnificent beech stands at the top of South Glen. It has initials apparently carved in 1909 in the bark on the side next to the drystane dyke. It's a grand place to pause when doing the rounds "looking the stock". The views, especially to the South and Southeast are spectacular: 1274032
