| Description |
English: Cow in the bracken, near Abergwesyn,Powys There were twenty or so of these brown cattle on the hillside grazing the rough grass among extensive bracken patches. Our forum discussion points to the cow being a Luing. Luings (from Scotland) achieved breed status in the 1960s and are renowned as beef cattle thriving on poorer land and for producing strong calves. |
