| Description |
English: Coveney sign, village pound and lock-up. The village pound and lock-up have been restored recently. This is a combined facility to restrain both two- and four-legged strays, and was built around 1850. The lock-up door is offset to accommodate a bench for the inmate; the tiled roof conceals a robust brick arch to prevent escapes. |
