Copper alloy vessel leg
Description
English: A cast copper-alloy leg from a late medieval to post-medieval metal vessel. The leg is sub-rectangular in profile, with a raised central longitudinal ridge. The bottom edge is rounded, whilst the angled top edge is truncated close to where it would have met the bowl base/side of the vessel. The surfaces are in reasonably good condition, with an even green patina. The object measures 67mm long, 31mm wide and 13mm thick across the midrib. Its massis 117g.
