Description
English: Roman pin: an incomplete copper alloy Roman hair pin of Crummy's type 5. Like all pins in this group, it has a flattened, subspherical head, and grooves (two in the presente example) below). The pin has a patchy green patina, and is broken mid-way down the shank, which is unswollen or hipped. The pin measures 39mm long, with a head diameter of 6.9mm. It weighs 3.1g.
