Title
Copper alloy coin weight
Description
English: A heavily worn coin weight, measuring 18.0mm in diameter and 2.8mm in thickness, and weighing 5g. The weight is round in shape, and deep in section. One face (probably the reverse) bears a crudely rendered crown, and possible might but the markings of the other face are no longer discernible. Round weights similar to the present example were issued in the late medieval and early postmedieval period.
