Description: The farmers at Greidung in Erdalen working at lowering the water level in the Erdalselva river. By lowering the water level in the river they increased the area of cultivable land in the valley.

thousands of glass plate negatives were badly stored uptil the 1980`s.
Only 23 negatives survived the years of poor storage and successive demolitions.
The poor storage conditions have left the plates damaged by water and mold attacks.
