Description
English: Offered for sale by Abbott and Holder in March 2020 when it was described as "‘Entrance to the Little Bitter Lake / Suez Canal’. Painted on her return from her second visit to India (1872-1874) Pencil and watercolour. Inscribed, signed and dated, 5th July 1874. Provenance: the artist to a cousin, Miss Constance Lee, and by descent. 23.75x5.25 inches."
