Description
English: Sandstone cliffs in Bahia, Brazil. The rare parrot, Lear's Macaw (Anodorhynchus leari), nests in these cliffs.
Português: Criada em 1989 pela Fundação Biodiversitas, tem 1462 ha e estabeleu em 2007 uma parceria com a American Bird Conservation (ABC)* para a preservação da arara-azul-de-lear, ameaçada de extinção. A EBC abriga os paredões de arenito que servem de dormitório e área de nidificação. Nós não vimos as araras pois saem às 6 da manhã e só voltam no fim do dia. Entretanto, é um cenário lindo.
