Description
English: Pink square commemorating the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, an event that celebrated the 400th anniversary of Columbus's arrival in the Americas. Nine medallions have depictions of his arrival as well as Spain's coat-of-arms and the American eagle with a shield flag. The dates 1492 and 1892 appear on either side of the central circular medallion.
