Description

FORT STEWART, Ga., June 13, 2017 – Brigadier General Tom Carden, commander of the Georgia Army National Guard presents a coin to Spc. Remco VanDuijn of the Headquarters Troop, 1st Squadron, 108th Cavalry Regiment during the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team’s eXportable Combat Training Capability rotation at Fort Stewart. Despite breaking his arm before the start of XCTC, VanDuijn insisted on staying with the unit and was recognized for his leadership and effort.
