Description Postcard depiction of a coach car of the Baltimore and Ohio train The Columbian.
Date Not used and no date on card. This is a linen type card which was popular in the 1940s and early 1950s. The train did not extend to Chicago (as shown on back) until 1949. This train was then combined with the Capitol Limited circa 1964. Amtrak took over all passenger trains in 1971.
