Summary[edit]

Description Saturday, September 24, 2011 -- Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Congressman John Larson, Senator Richard Blumenthal and Mayor Pedro Segarra took U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary Ken Salazar on a tour of the Coltsville Historic District in Hartford and discussed with him their efforts to have it designated a National Historic Park. Combined with the proposed iQuilt project, this designation would be a key to Hartford’s economic revival – creating new jobs and aiding existing downtown businesses.
