Description Colorado Army National Guard Spc. Daniel Evanson, augmentee with the 193rd Military Police Battalion, looks over an updated fire plan with Mark De Gregorio, National Park Service, who is also on call for fire support with various incident management teams, at traffic control point 5, the entrance to Rist Canyon, near Fort Collins, Colo., a main fire perimeter access point, June, 15, 2012. The Colorado National Guard is assisting the Larimer Country Sheriff's office with evacuation and to protect personnel and property during the High Park fire. "It's very comforting to the people who live up here to have these troops up here securing access to their evacuated homes," said De Gregorio. Donations of water and food have been provided by local citizens of the region.
