Description
English: Colonel, a dog from the second season of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition. Originally part of the group that accompanied Roald Amundsen, he was given to the Mawson Expedition for their second season. Believed to have originally been called Vulcanus he was renamed after the original Colonel that went with Amundsen to the South Pole
