Русский: Эта коллекция карт посвящена изображению деревень вдоль рек Рио-Негро и Амазонки. Сами карты являются результатом экспедиции, предпринятой группой инженеров для исследования течения Рио-Негро от Пара до Мариуа. Главным образом на рисунках изображены дома, церкви и другие строения вдоль берегов реки. Создателем карт считается немецкий инженер Жуан Андре Швебель, который был партнером Фуртадо Мендонса в этой экспедиции.
Река Амазонка Français : Cette collection de cartes montre les villages le long du Rio Negro et de l'Amazone. Elles sont le produit d'une expédition entreprise par un groupe d'ingénieurs traçant l'itinéraire du Negro entre Pará et Mariua. Les dessins représentent principalement des demeures locales, des églises et d'autres bâtiments le long des rives du fleuve. Les cartes sont attribuées à l'ingénieur allemand João André Schwebel, qui fut un partenaire de Mendonça Furtado au cours de son expédition.
Fleuve Amazone English: This collection of maps shows villages along the Rio Negro and the Amazon. They are the product of an expedition undertaken by a group of engineers tracing the route of the Negro from Pará to Mariua. The drawings mostly feature local houses, churches, and other buildings along the banks of the river. The maps are attributed to the German engineer João André Schwebel, who was a partner of Mendonça Furtado on this expedition.

Son el producto de una expedición realizada por un grupo de ingenieros que intentaban trazar la ruta del Negro desde Pará hasta Mariua. Los dibujos muestran, principalmente, las casas locales, iglesias y otros edificios en las orillas del río. Los mapas se atribuyen al ingeniero alemán, João André Schwebel, quien era compañero de Mendonça Furtado en esta expedición.
