Summary[edit]

Description Commander, Carrier Strike Group Seven (CCSG-7), Rear Adm. Mike Miller and Commanding General 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Maj. Gen. S. T. Helland stand in the coin-toss huddle formed by the San Diego Chargers and Green Bay Packers during a pre-season football game. The pre-season game took place in conjunction with a military appreciation day hosted by the Chargers. Several military personnel from around the San Diego area performed a pre-game ceremony, which included the presentation of an American flag before the game.
