Esta figura es de la fiesta que los indios llamaban "tlacaxipeualizti" [tlacaxipehualiztli = "Fiesta General" de Xipe Tótec].
La "u" vocal que quiere decir "desollame y comereisme" porque en ella mataban uno que llamaban "Toto Dezi" o "Xipeu" [Xipe Tótec] que es este mismo.
Deste modo que este primero que está atado a una rueda de piedra que ellos llaman "temalacatli" [temalácatl] al cual atado le daban un palo en la mano.
Y otro indio muy valiente sobrevestido de un pellejo de tigre [uniforme de guerrero jaguar] salía a él con otro palo en la mano y este palo era lleno de navajas [macuáhutil con hojas de obsidiana].
Y dábanse los dos hasta que el indio suelto mataba al atado y le desollaba y después vestido el cuero del muerto bailaba delante del demonio que llamaban "Tlacateu tezcatepocatl" [Tezcatlipoca].
Y el que había de pelear ayunaba cuatro días y se ensayaba muchos días antes para pelear con el atado y ofrecía muchos sacrificios a este demonio para que le diese victoria.
