Summary[edit]

Description
English: Coast Road Shotton. Prior to the building of the A55 dual carriageway to Bangor North Wales and the opening of the Dee bridge at Connah's Quay, the road shown used to be a major though heavily congested route from Manchester and Liverpool into north Wales coastal resorts. It is now downgraded to a B class road.
