English: Clyde shore, near Ardmore. This part of the shore is popular with wading birds, which can usually be seen near the water's edge in large numbers; there are often a few herons here as well. In the background is the peninsula of Ardmore Point; the prominent white building visible there is Ardmore House (of which a very good view can be found here: 47903). |
