| Description |
English: Closer view of the railway bridge from the canalside path. This is a closer view of the GER bridge featured in 1515194, taken looking north-northeast towards Grove Road. Notice that the railings prevent you from going any further here, which I presume is because Globe Town is just on the other side of the railway. The path on this side of the canal doesn't look to continue until Roman Road, which crosses the canal a little further along beyond the railway bridge. Therefore, in order to continue past the bridge, you have to leave the Queen Mary campus, turn left, take the first left (Whitman Road) and walk along the other side. Silly as it may sound, but it seems the only way! |
