Clopper Mill facing the mill race

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The wall of Clopper Mill that faces the mill race. The brick top floor of the mill was added by Francis Clopper in 1834 when he renovated the mill. The mill is beside Clopper Road in Germantown, Maryland. The mill used an "undershot" water wheel and was powered by water diverted from the nearby Great Seneca Creek.
