| Description |
English: Clock Tower, Horseshoe Barracks, Shoebury. Through the arch is the parade ground and the old barracks, now converted, as is much of the garrison, to generally up-market civilian dwellings. Some military relics such as this arch and clock tower remain together with some artistically scattered cannons on new brick plinths. The rather distinguished chapel has however become a site sales office. |
