Description
English: Painting of the clipper 'Mandarin' off Hong Kong. 'Mandarin' was built in New York to be the fastest sailing ship in the world. She completed 10 trips between the Pacific and Atlantic before running aground in the East China Sea. An unknown Chinese artist made the painting with the inscription, 'Early Chinese Clipper Ship Mandarin'
