Description
English: Clio.
Deutsch: Statue der Klio, Kleio oder Clio ist eine der neun Musen in der griechischen Mythologie und die Muse der Heldendichtung und Geschichtsschreibung. Wie alle Musen ist Klio eine Tochter des Zeus und der Mnemosyne und wird auch als Muse des Lyraspiels bezeichnet. Die Attribute von Klio sind die Papyrusrolle und ein Griffel und wurde so zur Schutzpatronin der Historiker. Eine Kopie der Statue von Hugo Kaufmann krönt das Einheitsdenkmal auf dem Paulsplatz vor der Paulskirche in Frankfurt am Main.
