Description
Deutsch: Schwerer Panzerreiter (Clibanarii) der Equites Persae Clibanarii, einer spätrömischen Eliteeinheit der Vexillationes palatinae (d.h. die Kavallerie der direkt dem Kaiser unterstellten Palast- oder Feldarmee), Mitte 5. Jahrhundert n.Chr. Die Truppe ist aus der östlichen Notitia Dignitatum, Truppenliste des Magister Militum Praesentalis II, bekannt. Vermutlich rekrutierte sich die Einheit aus persischen Söldnern deren Schlachtkavallerie im Osten besonders gefürchtet war.
