| Description |
English: Cley beach car park Significantly changed after storms in November 2007. The aerial images from before that show cars parked to the left of the shelter, with two car lengths between them and the shelter. Before that, prior to the previous flooding event in 1996, the ridge was much higher again. This was due to it being artificially steepened as a coastal defence. It used to be a good scramble to get to the top, which was wide enough to walk two abreast. The coastguard lookout and cafe has also gone. The birder is looking out to sea in the hope of some seabirds passing by, a regular sight here. |
