Description
Català: Clau de bronze amb lleó i barres reials, procedent del palau del Real de València. Segle XIV, 12'7 cm. Aquesta clau presenta una tija allargada de secció arrodonida que passa a quadrada en el seu extrem distal. Culmina amb quatre palmetes disposades entorn d'una bola, sobre la qual s'assenta un lleó estàtic de cua floronejada, coronat amb una senyera reial oscil·lant. El lleó està en posició estàtica, i els seus trets remeten a models d'època nassarita. Originalment daurada, la clau conserva restes d'aquesta coloració. El color roig de les quatre barres del penó és degut a què estan realitzades en coure per obtindre el color rogenc. Seria una de les claus d'una de les tres-cents estancesdel Palau del real de València.
